New page

== Intro ==
The purpose of this instrument is to weight materials

== The Precision Scale I ==
This scale is very sensitive and delicate. It can precisely weight down to 0.1mg.
[[File:Scale1.jpg|400px|thumb|left|Scale I]]
=== Functions ===
::A) Open and close button. Clicking on it will open the chamber ( G )
::B) To "tar" (reset the weight) press once
::C) To turn ON briefly click on it. Hold to turn off (Please turn it off every time when you're done measuring)
::D) Open/Close sensor. Got your hands full or dirty: briefly put your hand close to to the sensor to activate the Open/Close mechanism
::E) Display, where you read the numbers...
::F) Where you weight the material. Leave it clean as soon as you're done.
::G) The glass windows to isolate the chamber from air fluctuations

=== Rules ===
:1) Do not weight more than 120 grams with this scale
:2) Always leave it clean (use the brush next to it to clean it)
:3) Do not ever move it
:4) Never force the chamber opening by hand
:5) Turn it off when done. Ho and again always leave it clean
:6) Don't weight liquids.
If you're not sure ask around this is a very expensive piece of equipment.

== The Precision Scale II ==
This scale is slightly less precise than the scale I (1mg) but also more robust.
It can weight up to 180g.
[[File:Scale2.jpg|400px|thumb|left|Scale II]]
::A) ON: Press shortly, TAR: pres in the middle of the bar shortly, OFF: Pull up the bar shortly
::B) Display, where you read the numbers...
::C) Where you weight the material. Leave it clean as soon as you're done.
::D) The chamber windows. Have to be opened manually.

=== Rules ===
:1) Do not weight more than 180 grams with this scale
:2) Always leave it clean (use the brush next to it to clean it)
:3) Do not ever move it
:5) Turn it off when done. Ho and again always leave it clean
:6) Don't weight liquids.
If you're not sure ask around this is a very expensive piece of equipment (as well yeah...).

== Tips ==
The less you touch the table the better. Small movements can change and influence the measurements.
When weighting something, make sure to wait until it's stabilized. Add your compound and close the chamber.
Again wait until stabilized to note the measurement.
