Point 2: Results of the poll

The results of the poll for 24 Hackuarium members are available here.

How can we build on these?

The following improvement were suggested for UniverCité:

  • Better communication for the upcoming events
  • Better wifi
  • Better video projector/sound system
  • Bicycle rack outside/inside

The following improvement were suggested for Hackuarium:

  • Better communication for the upcoming events
  • Physical board for pictures of all members
  • Check-in system to easily know if someone is in the lab
  • P1 lab
  • Coat rack
  • Real freezer (whatever that means)
  • Lab cleaning days (at least the fridge) (lab or kitchen)
  • Some working space other than benches/more tables to work on, with plugs.
  • Big white board (we now have 2 sitting somewhere.. need to be hang on the walls.. anyone?)

We need a reminder of the goals of the association and that of DIY biology and biohacking. Luc can do an introduction again at some point (schedule in upcoming events).

Point 3: Finance

We need to sort out some details about finance:

  • Accountants (we need two external people to check the account)
  • Invoice mechanism (centralised is better)
  • Fundraising (Luc is happy to take this responsibility but needs green light from board/community to look for funding)

Point 4: Upcoming OpenHackuarium nights

OpenHackuarium dates: May 4, 11, 18, 25 June 1, 8 ,15, 22, 29 July 6, 13, 20, 27

EU Funding

Hackuarium was asked to participate to the call TRANSAR:ID (TRans-Alpine Newcomers in Science, Art, Research, Innovation and Development). We need to discuss whether it is relevant or not. http://www.alpine-space.eu/project-application/project-submission/open-calls-for-project-proposals
